May 2023 Luncheon Highlights & Hot Tubs!

The May Bosox Club luncheon was held on a beautiful, sunny 80-degree day at the Dedham Hilton with Special Guests, Current Second Baseman, Christian Arroyo, and Alumni Dennis ‘Oil Can’ Boyd. 

The event was emceed by former player, current NESN and WEEI commentator, Lou Merloni.  Christian was in great spirits and let us know that he is feeling excellent and expects to be back on the field soon. 

“Oil Can” kept everyone entertained giving his opinion of the changes at the ballpark (pitch clock, pitching signs, etc) and shared some old stories that warmed our hearts and made us laugh.  Now we will all enjoy the inside joke that he had with Wade Boggs about the ‘hot tub’.
